The aim of the ABI Network is also to avoid a postcode service for patients across Scotland, as well as generating better value for money. Therefore, following publication of the TBI Standards in 2009, there will be a re-visit to Health Boards by the NMCN ABI Manger to update on the previous mapping exercise (2008). This will highlight the barriers to implementation and raise awareness of areas of good practice. It will aid prioritisation for the ABI Network in enabling implementation of the TBI Standards in Scotland.
